A new study has found that there’s never been a better time to be a redhead.

It’s author, an authority in sexual genetics has proved conclusively that redheads, not blondes or brunettes, hold the key to sensual allure. Not since the Elizabethan era has red hair been so in demand. Salons all over Europe have reported a surge in women wanting to join the flame-haired revolution and having to fake it. Supermarket sales of red hair dye have rocketed by more than 20 per cent in the past year.

Those natural redheads who have suffered all of their lives can finally relax and enjoy this moment and hope that it goes on for a long time to come.

This image captures a moment when my porcelain white skin and white, lace dress gives way to an explosion of my intense red hair and full, red lips. It was the happiest of accidents and, when I finally saw it, I loved it immediately. I still do.
