Pleasure Seeker’s Paradise Written by Venus O’Hara There is no doubt that sex blogging for over a decade has had a …
The word fetish derives from 15th century Portuguese feitiço, which meant charm or spell. A fetish is an object believed to have supernatural powers, or in particular, a man-made object that has power over others. Essentially, fetishism is the attribution of inherent value or powers to an object. The terms “erotic fetish” and “sexual fetish” were first introduced by the French psychologist Alfred Binet in the 1940s.
Today a “fetish” is an object, non-reproductive body part or action whose presence or existence causes excitement and/or arousal in an individual. An object might be latex or heels, a non-sexual body part could be legs or feet and tickling or smoking are examples of actions.
“Fetish” is also used as an adjective that relates to anything connected to the world of BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Domination, Submission, Sadomasochism) such as fetish wear or fetish clubs.

It seemed clear that only way to overcome this rejection was to try BDSM dating only and connect with someone based on sexual tastes instead. A place where there would be no moral judgement or unrealistic expectations. He did just that and he had to think of a kinky nickname that reflected his dominant desires. The irony was, that he actually had no experience apart from watching kinky videos and listening to my stories.
When I received these fluidproof sheets, I immediately thought about how it might enhance my massage/foreplay sessions. I’ve never once had to lie in a wet patch as I’m religious about the use of condoms. Religion and condoms don’t usually belong in the same sentence, of course, but I do like to get messy.
I even used to get a thrill from a bit of light ‘sploshing’. But, ever since I’ve turned vegan, the thought of animal products coming into contact with my naked skin is the very opposite of orgasmic. Vegan ‘sploshing’ could be a viable prospect one day, I hope. I must confess that it doesn’t feature prominently on my ‘bucket list’ of fantasies that I want to translate into reality, though.
Can you be spiritual and kinky?
The MAZE collection from Bijoux indiscrets allows me to be just that.
“Exciting paths that unveil secret directions with one true end: finding your true self” the packaging reads.
This philosophy certainly conforms with my current spiritual journey. I’m surrendering to the universe and seeing where it chooses to take me. It will lead me, hopefully, into the arms of someone who is as blissed-out and kinky as I am.
I was in a terrible mood when I tried Lea by Feelz Toys for the first time. I had just been woken up in the early hours of the morning by my flatmate / frenemy who was making a great deal of unnecessary noise. It was clear that he didn’t give two hoots about whether I got enough sleep or not. His coughing, door slamming and stomping around made it clear that we are going through the equivalent of a platonic separation. Our situation is reminiscent of a film that I remember seeing. ‘The Breakup (2006)’ starring Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn tells the story of a couple trying to go their separate ways.
When I went to bed – I decided to test Zumio, a powerful clitoral stimulator that’s ideal for enjoying pinpoint pleasure. Naturally, I wondered what it would be like to share Zumio with another woman as I revisited my sapphic fantasies. I put Zumio to work on my hungry clitoris and closed my eyes. I imagined soft skin, expert caresses and – of course – the singular sensation of four breasts rubbing together.
I’m certainly not a natural born beachbum. But, when I received seven new Magnifique designs from Bijoux Indiscrets, I was instantly inspired to go to the beach and try them out. Even if you don’t live by the sea, a piece of the Magnifique collection won’t take up too much room in your suitcase if you go on holiday this summer. The response you get from putting it on display could be amazing.
